meet dr. coleman

“It was through my own experience as an orthodontic patient that I decided to become an Orthodontist. I had some complex problems and was in braces for a long time. I loved to see the fun that my orthodontist and his staff had when I went to appointments, I liked being there. I knew it was something I wanted to do too.” Dr. Coleman is a native of North Ogden, Utah. He attended Weber High School and Weber State University. Following his undergraduate training at Weber State, he attended the University Of Louisville School Of Dentistry graduating Summa Cum Laude with a DMD degree. He was inducted into the Alpha Omega International Honorary Dental Fraternity for attaining the highest academic standing during his years of study. He continued his residency training in orthodontics at the University of Louisville where he received his Masters in Science degree and certificate as a specialist in orthodontics.

He is currently a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Utah Association of Orthodontists and is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Coleman also has the distinction of being a Certified Preferred Provider for Invisalign® and Harmony braces.

He frequently lectures to dentists and their staff members about the benefits of orthodontic treatment. He is an active member of a local interdisciplinary dental team specializing in the treatment of challenging dental and orthodontic problems. Dr. Coleman also works with the charity Smile For a Lifetime Foundation, a charitable non-profit organization that provides orthodontic care (free braces) to individuals, ages 11-18 years of age, who may not have the opportunity to have orthodontic treatment due to economic or social hardship.

Dr. Coleman and his wife Andreya reside in Syracuse and have four children, Austin, Conner, Aubrie and Kaden. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, skiing, helping to coach his boys' baseball teams and fishing.
